Lpp Headers and kooks catted y-pipe Hey everyone, I have no idea why it took me this long to actually make my own account seeing as for the last 3 years I've been on this site thousands of times during the process of modifying my camaro..but never the less, I am a member now and my first post is asking you all for some help. Now i understand that the amount of posts regarding lpp/ebay headers is in the masses but i have been browsing for quit some time now and have not found this answer. Will the Kooks catted Y-pipe fit LPP headers or will there need to be some modifications done to make that work. I know lpp makes a catted y but there merge is **** and ive herd nothing but bad things. Does anyone know anything about this or have tried it themselves? Thanks a bunch guys.
You should have posted this in the external engine section but to answer your question, the Kooks Y will probably need to be modified. I don't have a LPP catted Y but the LPP ORY with the LPP headers made 351 rwhp and 365 rwtq on my stock internal TA. The merge on the newest design LPP Y looks very good and obviously flows well.
