I did my own H/C/I/E, 9", suspension etc etc. But yeah, I am getting to the point where I am tired of working on cars and willing to pay someone to have it done. Entering my mid 40s and I am just sick of it, plus I work in the trades so I am always doing manual labor. If I sat on my *** all day in an office it may be different. But I wouldn't say it's easy like some have said, you have to be mechanically inclined and take your time or things will go south.

What people fail to think about is there is a big difference between you and your buddies working on your car in a garage on the weekend and a shop that is there to make money. I know this is an old thread...but to charge $500 for a head swap is ******* stupid. Yeah you can do that..but you aren't going to keep your doors open very long. We charge more than that for a N/A dyno tune.
