My 98 Trans-am developed a problem. When i am cruising and i floor the gas pedal and the transmission downshifts the car seems to start bogging down, almost as if it was starving for fuel. If i ease up on the accelerator its fine. The fuel pump is only 6 months old and no other issues with performance. The fuel filter is also 6 months.

Any suggestions? The only MOD was a level 2 transmission and a 3200 stall converter just installed.
