Default pushrod size?

going to be running a set of AI 241's with 59cc chambers with the stock cam

what size pushrods do i need? i know the base circle is a bit bigger than most aftermarket cams .025" if im not mistaken. thanks

Two ways to find out.

1) Best way is to get a pushrod length measuring tool to determine correct pushrod length. Hit the "Measurement Techniques" tab in the link below. Also hit the "Checking" tab near top of the page to see the pushrod length checker tools.

2) Other method is to use a pushrod you have (and know the length of) and find out out many turns it takes to torque the rocker arm bolt from zero pushrod lash to 22 ft-lbs.

It's almost impossible to try and determine the required pushrod length by listing mods or the components being used in the valve train.

And we're to know how much the heads were milled, whether the valves are factory stem height, and what head gasket thickness you'll choose, how exactly?

In that case 7.394871" +/- 0.042 should do the trick.

You'll want a pushrod measurement tool ($20) and read up on how to use it. Perfect results every time.
