Ls2 rods fit lq4

I am wanting to put a set of rods and pistons out of a 05 ls2 into a 03 lq4. Can a swap them and go or do I need to rebalance I'm trying to get compression up for a ms4 I have laying around. I am trying to put something together with few parts I have laying around with limited money. I found a member that has these in budget

Are you just trying to swap rods or rods and pistons etc? If you reuse anything for your lq4 it would be smart to get the assem rebalanced. Plenty of people have swapped ls2 rods and pistons in lq4 lq9 blocks. Just about everything is interchangeable with these motors.
