Exactly what does having less lift and more duration mean in this instance.
The tr 224 is sooo popular in comparison -- at least lately anyway.

The slightly increased duration will make a bigger difference than the .003 lift increase as that max lift is only hit once per revolution. The duration keeps the valve open longer going up and down the lobe.
Rarely mentioned or compared, duration at .200 lift can really wake a cam up compared to another with the exact same duration at .050 and advertised total duration.
Make sense?
What do you feel different between the 112 vs the 114?
Which comes on sooner & has the most torque, or flatest torque curve?
And which one do you have to rev higher to make its power?
Road race vs Drag race...112 or 114?

The car is NOT any less civilized than the stock car! Great mod and great guys over at TTP in their new shop in Saddlebrook NJ.
All I can say is its awesome. 396 rwhp and 380 lb/ft of torque and the car is running the way it should have directly from the factory..

do you have any sound clips of it idleing I'm thinking of useing the same cam. are you useing a stall? if so how big.

I'll take a sound clip this week for you. Its pretty stealth though..No shake rattle and roll..Idles steady at 800rpm..Sure it sounds deeper but its so little a difference I'm very pleased.
I wanted a stealth package and TTP delivered in spades.
Great cam.
