5.3 heads with this cam?
5.3 heads with this cam? I have an opportunity to get a set of 5.3 heads for $100. Now, say I send them off to AI for a complete rework, as well as install correct hardware, would this be a good route for my cam, and what kind of number should I expect?
Cam specs:
•Advertised Duration (Int/Exh): 283/283
•Duration @ .050 (Int/Exh): 221/221
•Gross Valve Lift (Int/Exh): .558/.558
•LSA/ICL: 114/110
•Valve Lash (Int/Exh): Hyd/Hyd
•RPM Range: 2500-6000
Again, cam was free and I am not looking for big HP numbers, just a mean little street machine.
