which valve seals
I installed a set of 5.3 heads I bought from Terry at Patriot last fall but didn't drive the car much due to the weather. Now that it's warmer I have been driving and I have been consuming about a quart of oil per tank of gas.
The car smokes under heavy acceleration. I have read some threads about valve seal issues. Do you think this is likely to be my problem? Which seals should I buy for the dual spring setup? I have tried calling PP but I can't get through.

Will the stock GM valve seals work with the guides they use? Those are the seals I just bought from the Chevy house yesterday for my head freshening I'm doing. I think they are about $18 for the intake set and the same for the exhaust.

Terry help me make up my mind, please. With a 216/220, .525/.532 114lsa; should I go with your 5.3 stage II or LS6 stage II. I spray N2O dry too.
