Default best HP for cam only motor

I am going to build a genIII 346, I was wondering what the best HP&torque #s that I could hope for on a cam and bolt on's only motor except for longtubes. with all of the best mods you can get and a very good tune. I want all usable power & torque in the low-mid range of the powerband.

Also can one of you cam guys spec me a cam? I'm looking for as much power down low as possible.

I basically want to know how much power as possible from a N/A 346 without nitrous.

all help is much appreciated. thanks.

You'll make more of what you want and cheaper with longtubes.

First off, get longtubes. Second, I have seen 400rwhp through shorties but the setup was max effort IIRC (FAST intake, true duals, M6, stock gears etc)

Comp 212/218 if you're dead set on an aftermarket cam. Will make more power everywhere over a stock cam from what the silverado guys say and will work with the stock torque converter

Insane low-mid range power and high/est peak Rwhp doesn't go hand in hand.

I would talk to Pred Z, IIRC he has made some nasty down low torque monsters.
