5.7 truck cam
5.7 truck cam Looking for cam recommend for a 2000 ext cab gmc. Iron 5.7 w/ prc stage 2.5 ls6's. Daily driven sometimes towing a 3600 lb car. Thinking seriously about a tsp 220 cam. Will this and a 2600 stall converter pan out well??
Any typical ls1 cam will mainly aim for higher rpm power where obviously you wanna keep your low end torque for the towing...a higher stall would help but I would look on comp cams web site as they have a cam for just about every scenario or just get a custom grind to match your components and only a lil more than a comp grind
