A flashing SES indicates a transient or intermittent condition and does not always set a code.

it took 14 posts to remember a flashing SES light is a cylinder or misfire????? wow

take it to an autostore and get the DTC's pulled, the code is stored in the computer and you'll find out what exactly it is so you don't check a lot of different things
