Default Ported Vortec Intake Manifold Question

Does anyone know what kind of gains can be had by having a vortec intake manifold ported? This company does a basic port job for $250:

They made horsepower claims for all their ported intakes except the truck intake, which looks suspicious. I should probably just invest in an ls2 or ls6 intake.

If your going to buy an intake, stay away from the ls1 and ls2 intakes, the truck intake flows better than both of them.....look for a good deal on an ls6 intake.
