6.0 cam in 5.3
The cam from the 6.0 has more lift and duration than the cam from the 5.3, so there is power to be gained, but I would think that it wouldn't be much more than 10 hp.

No not worth it. And 2007 was a crry over year so it could be a Gen III or Gen IV motor. And if its a Gen IV motor it will not work since it need a single bolt style for the cam gear and trigger wheel.
Here's the LQ9 12561721 cam specs
196/207 duration at .050 0.467/0.479 lift on a 116 Lobe center
So which 5.3L do you have? As there different cams depending on year application.
Most 5.3L cams were 191/196 duration at .467/.469 lift on a 114. Now some were better. Like the L33 were the same or better than the LQ9.
I would just find another cam not worth the trouble to swap.
