What truck is this going in? This is a very interesting thread. I just developed an interest in truck pulling. Gotta love the Duramax.

stock exhaust maifolds you either port the flanges as far as you can, cut them apart port and weld together, or extrude hone. Intake if using a truck intake I would cut it apart shorten the runners port and epoxy back together

is it hard to port intake ur self? Is the stock truck manifolds the best flowing ?

From what I understand the ls6 intake out flows the truck intake, but not by much and wouldn't be worth buying if you already have the truck intake....the ls2 intake even with the 90mm tb flows les than the ls6 and suffers from internal leakage, but if you get the right epoxy and do enough work on it you ""might" get the ls2 to out flow the ls6

Peak speed has truck intake porting. Anyone heard of them? Worth the money on a high performance motor?

I'd say so since every little bit of power/torque is going to be needed.
