Im looking for a sleeper cam, a "max-effort" sleeper cam if that even exists. I want the idle to be stock-like but still get the most out of it performance wise. Not looking for peak or necessarily down-low power, but a great midrange would be optimal.
Setup is:
Full weight automatic 01 z28
Long tubes
catted Y
Hooker cat back (very quiet)
Ls6 intake
Slp lid
SSRA
Untouched 243's with .40 gasket
Circle D 3B converter ~3400
3.90 gears
stock wheels with 255/50/16 Toyo TQ DR's
Dont want to have to spin the motor or the trans to 7000 rpm, trans is stock for now but do plan to rebuild it once it goes. Probably looking for a cam that will make power to 6300 and shift at 6500.
Im thinking maybe a 223/230 115+5 not sure if this would be stealthy enough for what im looking for though. Any suggestions?

I went 12.17 with a Cheater Cam, ported heads, stock exhaust and a soft hitting 4K stall. FWIW. With a Yank SS 4000, I think I could easily hit high 11's, with the stock exhaust and stock like idle...
