Most common LS1 alum block combo to make 427 cubes is 4.125 bore size with a 4.00 crank=428 Beautiful Cubes but we all round it off to those classic holy chevy 427 CUBIC INCHES!!! Most popular stoker combo in an ironblock is 408 cubes with 4.030 bore with 4.00 crank!
If you get one, go with a major shop like MTI, Cartek, ect. The higher prices are worth it, and I'm not talking about just the parts themselves. Customer service counts for more than anything. Trust me.
