Default Doing cam install got a question

well not really a problem im having now just want to avoid if I can.When I installed a 160 thermastat I had a bad coolant block or something and like to never got it fixed.My question is anyway to avoid this on my cam install?Just wondering if anyone had any tips or tricks Thanks

You can pull the tube off the top of the water pump and put a tube down there and fill it that way. You should be able to fill it all the away and when you start the car it will only need 2-4 cups of water if you have primed the block(the way i told you) and primed the radiator.sp
