G5xb...even for a blower cam it has a nice little lope to it and is not too big to drive around on.

Lol.. You are just going to have to pic one, N/A or boost, and stick to it. Make a compromise. If you want good numbers on boost, get a cam made for that. If you want good numbers N/A, get a cam made for that.. Can't have the best of both worlds lol

I'd be willing to bet that the 224/228 .581/.588 cam would suit you quite well. The only thing I'd check with someone on is what LSA you'll want. I'm assuming at least a 113 or 114 to keep out of negative overlap based on your future plans... That cam plus a good set of double springs should hold up quite well though.

Post 01 LS6 cam or LPE GT2-3 work great with turbos and are decent n/a with no lope. 281LRHHR13 by Comp cams is a good max power turbo cam but its choppy. TU1 cam from Speed INC is another good one that is very dd friendly and easy to tune. VS speed has lots of turbo cams too with the VTC2 being the most popular for street cars. Contact Chris @ East Coast Supercharging as well he has a lot of experience with turbo LS1 cams.

The 224R or 228R would work well in both NA and boosted applications. Honestly though I would get a cam designed for my turbo build and go with that. The NA loss (from a true NA cam...it will still make a lot more power than stock) from a boost cam will be worth it when you slap on the turbo.

We have a 224/228 .581/.588 114 LSA cam that seems to work well with boost and on motor. It has a broad powerband and a little chop at idle so a lot of people like it. The 228R on a 114 would be another good motor/boost cam. Most boost cams are pretty drivable once tuned because they are not very big.

Plan your turbo build on paper, type of turbo, size, etc and match a cam specifically for that setup. (If boosting is a concrete achievable project). That way you'll have the parts optimized for your goal. Different size turbos react differently to different cams.
As experienced turbo builder opinions, decide power range needed (not just I want XXX hp). What works for 1 setup might act differently in another.

224r on a 115 LSA. Everyone has an opinion on what is "streetable". Some people will say that a MS4 size cam is a daily driver. I encourage you to find someone with a cam and ride along or drive it. You are the only person who can decide if it is daily material and the maintenance that comes with it is worth it. Good luck on your build and take in the advice some of the senior members here give because its tried and true!

If you would like to go over specs and a cam for your build call me at the shop on Monday and I can give you some ideas for what to use.

Our cam packages start at 680-700 dollars.

Something like 226/231 .605"/.598" 113+2 or 114+3 would work well. LXL/HUC lobes. I think this combo of lobes would make an awesome boost cam and still make great power N/A. Nice soft lobes with good area is what you want with a boost cam, especially on the exhaust side which the HUC lobes do very well while still keeping a fair amount of intensity on the intake with the LXL lobe.
