which cam to pick?
which cam to pick? I can't figure out what cam to go with... I have a 2000 ss A4 lid, full exhaust, 3600 stall, trans cooler, 4.10's, custom tune and some 275/40/17 NT05's that already dont have a prayer. I am stuck between the MS3 and the VRX5. Have heard that tsp cams don't make tqs like they should and some say vengeance is overrated. But I am open to any comments, just want to see what yall think. Thanks for the help
There both seem to be using XER lobes, but if you plan to spray often then I'd go with the MS3 with the wider split. I wouldn't really worry about the torque to much since you have a 3600stall, but if you want you can get a tighter lsa 111 or 112lsa with the MS3 if you want to drop down the power band a bit.
How about getting a custom cam to better suit your needs?
I used to have an MS3 and it didn't make gobs of torque, however a 4000 stall took care of that.
You may have to flycut for your intake valves with those cams.

My tuner said he thinks the VRX5 is going to be best for what I'm looking for and it is hassel free, I have heard the magic stick series needs flycut... not wanting to go inside that much yet. thank you for your input, I'm getting my cam once we make it to hawaii so I'll post dyno numbers once all is said and done.
