Opinions needed for heads Hey guys its Amy I need help how good are the stock ls1 heads? I am wanteing ot have more power and I spoke a rep from Eldebrock and he said that I should just port and polish or due something??? I am really confused any and all opinions are needed! Is it worth buying new ones or doing somethig to the ones I have now!

It's an automatic or 6 speed?
I would look into a torque converter if you got an auto first IMHO.
B-4 you jump into internals you may want to take less of a leap & do some bolt on mods?
GOALS GOALS GOALS. You have to have an idea of what you want out of the car before you decide things like this. Your always going to want more but you have to have a starting point.
To answer your question yes the LS1 are great heads Stock, ported even better but even that depends on what you want.....
