Gears would be bottom of my mod list if I were you.

They might make the car feel faster, but it really won't be gaining much at all.

Eh, feeling faster is most of the fun for me. I don't really race I just like to have fun with the car. If gears will make it feel more fast and fun then they will be done sooner or later. Already pulled the trigger on the cam first though so they will have to wait.

Cam first was the right call.

Well, in his first post he said he would like to switch his gears to 3.73. So it sounded like he already had his mind made up.
I didnt say not do the cam. I said do gears first.
I said do gears first because if I did mine all over I would have done gears after the stall so I could see exactly what I would gain. Thats just my way of looking at it thats all.
I went from 3.23 to 3.73 and I love the way they feel. Feels tighter driving around town and maybe its just my car but the mpg drop is over rated imo.
My car averaged 19-mpg before with 3.23, stall, boltons. Now it averages 17-18mpg with the addition of heads, cam, intake, 3.73 and a couple smaller bolt ons. I wouldnt say I lost alot of mpg after my build. Pretty damn good imo and im happy with the 3.73.

Yeah my buddy has the same setup as me basically except I have the 3200 converter, and 3.23s he has stock converter, 3.73s, and fat tires and we ran yesturday. He was hanging with me really well, so that means it's worth something speed wise for sure.
