If you vent the highest point in the system when fillling it there will be no air in the system. Kind of like blending brakes. These engines the highest point is the crossover
I have always done this and never had the squeeze the hoses due to air.
Kurt Urbans vapor system uses this theory. Been on a few factory tours and never saw the poor s.o.b. that had to squeeze the hoses all day long

What dumbass do you know that squeazes hoses all day long to bleed a system....lol....?
The crossover method DOES NOT work when an air bubble is sitting on the engine side of the t-stat....it can't move from that position. Only way to move it from that position is to force it past the t-stat, which it does easily, if you SQUEAZE the hoses.
Works in 1-2 minutes every time.

lol like previously stated.... air rises when in water!! so if it was sitting behind the tstat it would go up... to the highest point. which is the crossovervents, so do you have the block off plates for the back vents? if so try taking them off....,maybe they are holding air back,....take them off,...then squize the hose that might do it.

Little update, I fixed it a while ago, just put the front end on a lift so the radiator cap would be the highest point in the system used a funnel so I could watch the air bubbles stop, it worked like a charm. Runs perfect now.
