Default 97/98 LS Engine Headgasket ?

Well i have been searching but i dont seem to find the right answer....but Can I use a 241 head on a 97 / 98 block?

2nd Question- Upon reseach as long as i am using the MLS gaskets i can use the 241 heads correct?

If not i will have to locate the 853s and the correct gaskets

Yes, you can use any of the LS1 heads on the 97-98 blocks! The standard GM MLS gaskets will work on the 241's and 243's and that block as well!
