Many options here. Depends on how much you want to spend really. Afr 205cc or 210cc heads make great power but will cost you. Texas speed offers prc stage one two or three heads that flow really well and arnt too harsh on the wallet. Budget wise porting a set of 243's will flow well and not break the bank

Your going to be hard pressed to hit 470 with that cam, regardless of heads. I'd say closer to 450 with a good set of cnc'd 243's.

Default Tampa Orlando Dyno Tuning Camaro Corvette CTS-v GTO GM Trucks performance tuning

I use the AFR 205 heads milled .020 off on my Tampa Tuning Corvette test mule and the 228R.

I have the FAST 90/90 system and 3.90 gears and im at 450 RWHP. The best it pulled was 458 RWHP when I leaned it out some. I like my cars and my clients cars to last, so I added back in a fuel and reduced the spark, and keep it at 450 RWHP.

My car has 1000's of test and tune hours in it. 23 highway miles per gallon and 15 in the city. I beat this car pretty damn good every chance I can. Maybe if I added a electric water power, Id pick up 15 RWHP.

AI cnc'd 243s probably the 226cc option. Might not make the HP number you ask but the actual performance will be there,

Your not going to get that much power with an auto.
Look at my car...
tea stage 2 243 heads
comp cams 228/232
fast 92
all boltons
stall
gears
429/392 on a mustang dyno
Thats about what you can expect out of an auto and some might even say those #s are pretty damn stout for an auto.
If you want anymore power than this then you better get a nitrous kit or forced induction.

I would think you would be over 470 on a dyno jet...and those numbers are pretty stout for an auto on a mustang dyno

With a nice set of ported and milled heads along with a fast, you MIGHT hit your goal with the 228r but by no means expect it..

Your talking about high dollar heads if your wanting 470rwhp. A set of stage 2 ls6 heads would get you to 450rwhp. But your gonna need aftermarket AFR, Trick Flow or TSP PRC heads to make that extra 20 hp.

If your ready to spend a bunch of money to get there look at Allpro and Motez heads, but not sure if they make a small bore head for stock ls1 bore

Fully ported TFS 220's or Ported AFR 205 or 210 heads with a fast 92/92 setup.

plus some people try to reach 400hp with heads too. im a Cam Only Car with, SLP Intake, Full Exhuast, and a Tune. with PRC Stage 2.5 LS6 Heads. i might gain 40rwhp then a Fast Intake 92mm or 102mm dont know whats better. then another 20rwhp.

yes but your talking about picking up 70 RWHP with just heads and an intake. with that cam being small you will have a hard time doing it trust us. keep in mind to hit the 70 rwhp you will need to have an even higher gain in crank hp. so your asking for 85-90 hp gains from a set of heads and an intake. its quite a stretch. quick question why is 470 so important. have you driven an ls1 with 440rwhp? i promise you will have plenty of fun. as far as the FAST intake goes, its a simple rule. more airflow=more power. 92 mm is smaller than 102 mm. however for a 102 or even the 92mm to work properly everything leading up to it must be 102 or 92 mm. a stock air inlet and stock sized TB and MAF arnt going to allow a bigger intake to flow as well as it advertises.
