Swapping from a milled head to a non milled head.

Swapping from a milled head to a non milled head. I have been giving this alot of thought lately. Right now I have the MTI stage 2 LS6 heads and X1 cam with ALL the boltons. At the time I got this combo it was the big dog on the street. But as of late I have been seeing more and more HUGE cam combos. My problem is that with all of the huge cams I cant run them due to the MTI heads being milled .030. Would there be much gain in going back to a non-milled Stage 2 LS6 head and one of the new monster cams.
I am really looking into the grand am cam:
239/251 294/306 .570/.570 106lsa.
Any input would be appreciated.

It would take some huge reliefs to accomodate this cam with the milled heads. Enough that I would be concerned with the integrity of the stock pistons. I would porbably have to fly cut them anyways, but the non milled head gives me more room to play with.

If you want to sell those heads and cam let me know because I am going for the same setup you are currently running. Ok so it will be in a 90 Iroc with an LS1 but the engine setup will be the same.
