So i have my AFR 215's, LS7 lifters, Roller rockers,new push rods etc installed and all torqued down. Yes i measured for correct push rod length. My question is: when the valves are completely closed and at the top, should i be able to *slightly* wiggle the Roller rocker and the roller on the tip of the rocker spin by hand? I just happened to notice this today as i was getting ready to close up my garage for the day. I appreciate any input. thanks guys!

 

If you haven't fired the motor yet, yes you will be able to do this although there isn't much slop in the roller rockers side to side.

 

Yes, once the lifters pump up, that slop should be gone.

 

Oh yea, i am retarted. there is no side to side movement just a little bit up/down. Forgot i havent started it up and primed the lifters with oil. Ok, my worries are gone now. i knew there was no way in hell i needed longer pushrods haha
