How much is my longblock worth?
How much is my longblock worth? Trying to see how much my long block is worth in my LS1 car in my Sig.
Factory 98 LS1, 118k on motor. At 105k the top end was redone with TSP stage 2.5 5.3 heads > http://www.texas-speed.com/p-1172-pr...ted-heads.aspx
Along with the MS3 cam, LS7 lifters, new hardened rockers, high flow LS6 oil pump, SVO 42lb injectors, Cloyes double roller timing chain, ASP pulley.
The car also has a FAST 92mm TB and FAST 92mm intake, but am unsure if I would sell those or use them for the new setup. I doubt it would be worth anything, but I would throw in the 98 PCM also.
The original plan was to drive it until the engine went boom. But now, am considering selling the long block while everything is still working good. There are no hiccups, or running issues with the engine or car what so ever. The car made 441 RWHP, and trapped 118 MPH in the quarter mile at the track just a week ago.
This is not a for sale thread. I am just asking how much you guys believe this would be worth or sell for (unless someone happens to make me a good enough offer now).
What do you guys think? I figured it would be better sold as the long block, but if you guys think it would be worth more parting out, I would consider that as well.
