idle speed after cam install
what should the idle speed be with a A4 after you have installed a 224/224 with headers and is it normal for it to be a little rougher at first when its cold.? oh, Its a 2002 t.a. and I did have it mustang dyno"d.

Its going to idle low,I believe mine idled at around 500-550,and it used to die at every light.You will need to get a tune to turn the idle up.And yes its normal for it to run rough when cold.Welcome to having a cam.

yea, I did have it dynoed right after , and it idles around 800-900 and it doesnt stall.throttle response is tremendous, especially with my 373 's and my 2800 stall.also is it common for it to smell a little rich at first when its cold.no smoke or nothing just a little more richer then when its warm.
