Default Some advice would be nice.

I am thinking of doing a 383 build. i have as set of 243 ported and polished. i bought them off of a guy and i know nothing about them. obviously the best thing to do would send them and get the specs on them. But i was thinking of running the 383, ported heads and the ms4 cam. i have a stock intake and throttle body but the rest has the usual mods. strange 12 bolt with 4.30 M6.
What kind of numbers should i expect out of this build? any tricks or advice to give me better numbers. Also if anyone has a similar build i would like to hear about it.

If this is your first LS hot rod then send your 243s here and have Phil set you
up with the right cam for your power requirements. I'd bet you'ld be really
amazed at the power level 346 inches will have. If you're dead set on a 383
then check the Texas Speed link on the right to find the short block or
rotating assembly needed.

a flow test on the port flow would help with picking the cam.do a valve seat leak test to make sure the valve job is good .
