Default milling 317 lq4 heads

Im looking to get a set of heads milled and then ported and was wondering how much i should have milled off the 317 heads to bring my compression back up? they will be going on my ls1 trans am along with a cam and intake.

You mill to much you'll run into intake alignment issues..

I don't think so , but can't tell u for sure as I've only personally used a super Vic intake that I've milled to match.. Any reason u won't go 243?
