Okay so I was just BS'in and I started lookin' at connecting rods, If the stock rods in my 5.3 are 6.098" and I bought 6.125" wouldn't I have to get shorter pistons so it doesn't come out of the cylinder and hit the head or cause PTV clearance issues. Would a thicker head gasket do the trick? and if i put a bigger crank in say a 4" crank then I would need shorter rods, correct?I was also wondering if wrist pin height could be a contributing factor to and clearance issues. Can someone clear it up for me?
