Default Timing for Cam

Need to know if this is lined up. Would hate to screw my engine up.

One more thing, is there a guide to EGR valve bypass for the '98 F-Bodies? Just ordered an exhaust setup and I need to do this.

The picture is not showing. I believe there is an EGR Delete write-up in the external engine section...it's in one of the many stickies, I think.

Okay, I reuploaded the image. Should be showing up now. For some reason it won't let me use an image on my desktop, just a website link.

Thanks for info Matt.

EDIT: One more thing, the Texas-Speed 1-7/8" Long Tube Headers are NOT racing headers, right? I own a '98 so I will need to get the block off plates that connected the EGR to the Intake, correct? The exhaust setup that I ordered on Saturday from Texas-Speed was the TS 1-7/8" LTH and the TS 3" ORY.

I know the exhaust questions are external engine, but the timing question is internal. I posted this in interal because the timing issue was of the upmost importance.

Dots appear to be lined up to me. The TSP headers are "race style" with no AIR or EGR provisions. You can pull it all off, plug the intake, etc so long as you do not need them for inspection.

I'm in kind of a bend for time. I need to have this done before Friday. Basically all that's left on the project is putting everything back. Should I be blocking off the intake? If so can I get this from an auto store?

Second, do I need to remove the AIR System?

Again thanks.

Yea, you can grab a rubber expansion freeze plug from the parts store to plug the intake. I'd delete AIR too....it's just going to be laying there after you install the headers, which won't hurt anything, but it does clean up the bay when you get rid of that stuff!

Links to EGR and AIR removal are in that thread.
