#'s on piston

tore the heads of my ls1 gto motor and there is a number on the pistons E057 they do not look like stock pistons cant find any info on them

Do they have a dot anywhere on the face? If there's a dot, they're stock.

no dot and very shinny .. can still c cross hatches n cylinder wall so i am guessing its been into

this is #3 looks like maybe sum self clearance by valves.... the short block should still be good what you guys think

Yea def stock pistons from the dot at 9 o'clock on the piston as dr.whig said...and yes the cam in there is too big from the looks of those eyebrows...and don't be suprised if the bottom end hasn't been touch as I have a 200k+ mile LS with factory cross hatching in the cylinders...
