would there be any ill effects with running a ls7 head gasket on a stock head stock bore ls1? any loss compression wise? have a brand new set laying around from another build and was wondering if they would be fine to use in a cam only motor

 

It is not a good idea. I can't tell you all the details. The larger bore would allow preasure between the block and head amoung other things.
