Vic Jr Power Numbers
That cam will work fine for either.
Remember guys he is on a stock bottom end and really can't spin it past 7200-7400 without repercussions....although with rod bolts in mine I have spun it to 7400 on motor. On nitrous I shift at 6700.
He doesn't have one yet, and he doesn't know it, but that's his next modification....
thats why i said it!
78bu you can get a new efi super for $350, put some frost plugs in the injector holes and go at it. Otherwise the carb version is $480, thats not much. Other option is the GMPP but its on par with a vic jr, or the Mast intake which is a pile of money
And is it smart to get the EFI one and plug the holes seems like it wouldn't be

pretty similar, details in sig.
Heres a good link to how you can expect the powerband to shift vs a plastic intake

Regarding your last post, a VERY nicely ported jr with a 2" spacer would be on par with a box stock Sr with no spacer. A super with a spacer would be worth another 10-15, and ported to ported 20+hp easy
The jr has smaller runners, and no plenum volume. Adding the 2" spacer gets it close for volume but even fully ported the runners are only about as good as a box stock super. For the money of a Jr and spacer you can just buy the super and still be power ahead.
