Default Eagle H beam

I have a rod knocking in my 2000 ls1. So i went to the machine shop to get some prices, the heads are gonna run about 250 to freshen up and shsve .030 thou. The block machine gonna run bout 800, then i gotta put it back together (they dont have a clean room for assembly right now). So i was talking about forged rods, he really tried to steer me away from scat rods and go with eagle forged, which is what i wanted anyway. My question is i have a 2000 ls1 stock i want to spin to 7000 but i want to be confident it will spin 7500 all day. I dont know the specs on stock, will these wrk for me and stay alive? Eage forged 1 set of 8 6.125 long "ESP" Forged 4340 H beam eagle connecting rod. With on center big end no offset. 6.125 length 620 gram weight Pin is 0.927. Part number Crs612503d for $360 bucks GOOD DEAL???? thanks if these are not the specs i need please help.

why 7000 - 7500 rpm?

those rods will work with forged pistons made to work with rods of that size AKA you will need forged pistons if you want to use those rods.

If You want to use stock pistons or aftermarket 1's with the same compression height You'll need the rods that are 6.1" ,,,,,,, I believe Eagle has them everything else the same as the 1's You described and I believe the WS6 store has them for just under $300 and I believe They are rated to something like 900hp and They will handle those rpm's all day as long as You're rotating assembly is balanced correctly but You really need to ask the manufacturer or a retailer these questions to be sure .

Those rods won't work with stock pistons because they're a .927" floating pin. The stock pistons are for a .944" pressed pin. If you get the Eagle 6.1" rods with the .944" pressed pin, you will be good to go and it will be more than adequate to handle 7500 RPM.
