Sending an APB for a connecting rod I know this is the wrong area for this post. But I'm not cool enough yet to post this in the classifieds.
I took my engine to the builder yesterday to get the rings opened up for a turbo project and he tells me I have one bent rod. I couldn't even hear or notice it.
The engine is a 2000 5.3. I am aware that there are a few different styles of rods. A gen 1 rod and a gen 2 (ls2) rod if you will. I will need the earlier I am sure.
So if you have a part number of the rod I need. Or a connecting rod to offer me post away.
I cannot afford a ls2 rod swap right now.
