I have got a 2007 pickup with 5.3 . I posted on here a while ago about getting rid of the dod lifters as i was getting a slight knock. Now it is all the time. I want to cam this thing but i still tow with it. Any suggestions on cam? I am going to also put longtubes and full exhaust while im at it any suggestions on cam it any i was thinking tsp 220/220 581 lift thanks guys

 

Over on the truck forums would be able to help you out better for towing cams and such. I would venture out and say something like a 220r but that's just a guess.

If you want strong TQ across the board , go with something mild 8* split duration favor the exhast , lift under 570 LSA 114 and run LS6 springs. Torque monster.
