Is anybody running this cam?

Would I have to run double valve springs or flycut the pistons?

Should be a nice cam, right between the 228r and torquer V2. You could run beehive springs, but I'd run at least some PAC 1211X or PSI LS1511ML, which ever you can get for less. Dual springs will give some added insurance if you break a spring, and offer better spring rates to control the xer cam lobes. The Brian Tooley #SK001 S dual spring kit is a great deal for $220, Id go with them if you go with duals.
