LS6 cam and 1.85 rockers
This is a CNC ported version of the 2002 LS6 cylinder head assembly. Capable of 500 horsepower, the intake runner volume is increased to 250cc while the exhaust is increased to 85cc. The cylinder head surface is planed to reduce the combustion chamber and increase the compression ratio to 11.2:1. Valves are ground for three angles, the valves are both hollow stem for reduced mass, and the exhaust valves are sodium filled for cooling. The valve springs are new for ‘2002 and are specked for .570” maximum lift. Note: Because this head is planed, the intake manifold pilot bosses must be chamfered.

the heads have nothing to do with it, its the valve springs. get some 918's or duals and you can run just about any cam combo you want provided you dont colapse your lifters.

I don't wish to make this an issue - the comment was made about stock LS6 heads with stock SPRINGS. I was just pointing out that the stock spring on a LS6 can't handle the lift - it needs some work - as it was pointed out. I agree with changing the springs, then the problem goes away.
