Odd oil pressure

Odd oil pressure I just bought this 01 WS6, the oil pressure gauge acts strange. When you start the engine cold the gauge doesn't move up for a few seconds then it jitters a little and moves up to 60. Once the engine is hot the oil pressure gauge shows 40 at idle but jitters then sometimes stops jittering and stays steady. Anyone else ever see this? I'm guessing it some kind of lifter issue because sometimes I hear a little tapping at times.
Also I've noticed the gauge reading steady at a idle then the engine will miss slightly and the gauge wil start jittering again. Only 38k miles on the car, runs good and is very quiet otherwise.
