Default LQ9 - broke rocker

Hey guys, long story short my brother broke a rocker arm or some crap in his LQ9. It's got pistons, cam, ported 317's etc etc. It's in a SWB Nissan Patrol and will sit on limiter most of it's life so he's wanting to replace them with something decent. Preferably do it with the heads on too.

What will bolt straight on and will he have to change pushrods? Budget of around $400 for the rockers.

Chasing a quick reply.

Thanks
Jeremy

Laugh none for $400. Want some real rockers, pony up $1000 for jesels.

In all honesty stock rockers are great. The key is keep the lift under .630 and do the trunion upgrade.

There's no reason you need anything other then stock rocker. Find a rocker and upgrade the trunnions in all of them and put them back in. My valve train guy has stock rockers turning 8800 a bunch of motors and they all live just fine. Check to make sure you don't have a bent push rod or a bent valve.

Thanks, i'll let him know. Told him to stick with stock rockers in the first place. Also, in Aus so getting parts for this stuff like stock rockers isn't as easy as it sounds.

Is there a part number for the stock rockers?
