i have a LPE gt1-1 229/242/114 .631/.631

Dont have a whole lot to spend but also want more than stock LS1. besides the PTV really worries me even though it makes very respectable power. i know TEA's are just awesome but i cant afford 2600 right now... any advice on a set of heads that will make more power?

 

Low mileage unported 243 heads can be found for around $400. That's probably the low budget thing to do.

 

check Texas Speed for some heads.the tfs 220 head ,and the TSP PRC 225 cast head cost $1700.

 

My PRC 5.3 stage 2.5 heads were like $1300 from Texas Speed
