Okay this may be a dumb question but how much does your cam affect the pushrod length for a 5.3. I have a custom cam 231/242 617/592 was just wondering what length I need. Also have stock 799 heads. Any help would be useful.

I do plan on getting an adjustable pushrod to make sure. But I'm just wondering

 

If the new cam has a different base circle than stock, the pushrods would need to be a different length.
