Default Does a double roller timing chain stretch?

Im in the middle of a 6.0 rebuild on my TA. I am about to order the parts for my engine, but it seems to me that the chain is a little loose. Do double roller chains have a bit of play in them or should i replace it? It has about 15k miles on it.

A little play...Yes there is some play or else you wouldn't be able to install it. You are going to have use judgment as to if its excessively loose or not. If in doubt, better to replace it than lose sleep over it.

its going to have some slack. You should run an ls2 tensioner if youre not already, that will help with the chain slapping

All timing chains stretch a bit over time. Your best bet is to replace it any way and like Tainted said add an LS2 tensioner.
