Default Will the CheaTR LS2 cam work in a LS1?

I've been looking on Thunder Racing website and like both the CheaTR LS2 cam and the CheaTR V.3, but may come up on a deal with the LS2 version.

My question is will that cam work? It is a 3 bolt cam like mentioned in the selection bar. Just want to make sure, thanks in advance!

you just need to know if in the back of the cam, are the (dont know their name) half rings that the cam sensor reads, if not you will have to buy a cam reluctor wheel , the timing cover with new cam sensor... just like the ls9 swap

Yeah that's what I'm curious about, trying to avoid that whole timing cover sensor swap stuff.

Nice, searched around cams but didn't find the Tick one. I'll keep it in mind. Thanks!

This doesn't answer your question, but I would do a search on Thunder Racing and look at all the unhappy customers before you buy anything from them.

Thank you for the recommendation!

With you being in California, this cam will without a doubt pass the sniffer test as it has -10 degrees of overlap. That said, it will still make pretty good power numbers as I tried to maximize the intake valve close event and exhaust valve open event to that of a larger cam.
