Default Ls1 gauges sweeping

Have a 99 ls1 camaro gauges are sweeping lately when i turn the key on wondering what could be causing this i heard it could be an indication of a weak battery?

have a multi-meter by chance? if so test the battery and you'll know right away

Yes i have one will try that i was just curious if this was a common reason for the guages to sweep was the battery also think the battery may be to small for the car because of the 383 stroker i built probably just get a optima

optima's a good batteries! not sayin the battery is the problem but a optima is a good battery
