lm7 / ls1 build questions. Hello to all, just starting my first lsx swap. Got a 5.3 with 60k and new rings/bearings. Its going in a 240sx for a drift car/weekend driver. Not looking to fully build or boost right now but cant seem to find my question. Ive searched but only finding turbo or high hp set ups. Im looking for roughly 400 hp with heads/cam/intake/exhaust. My question is what would my best setup be? I know each engine is different but as far as what the best setup is for those motors for my power goal? Dont want to lose reliability or to much of a cam to where its hard to keep running. Just want a good budget setup. Thanks for any info.
Looking into the tsp 228/228 588/588 113lsa cam. Would this cam be too much for the 5.3? Going to port/polish the 5.3 heads with a ls6 intake . I will also be doing valve springs, not sure which yet though. Any info helps.
