Thinking about different cam, what do you think? Hey guys! Here is the deal, I have a hotcam right now and will not be installing it for at least a year. Now that I have had time to think about it, I have been thinking about possibly going with a different cam. Another factor is that Missouri might be getting rid of emission testing all together, so that would play a big role in my decision as well. The cams that I was looking at were the G5X2, G5X3, and possibly the T-Rex cam. I have a 2001 WS6 M6 with Jet Hot LTs, Catted Y pipe, GMMG, and air lid. I want to have good driveability, good mid range to top end power, and a really mean lope like the hotcam gives out. What would you suggest? Also, how often do you have to replace springs with these cams? Thanks!
Emissions in MO no longer meters exhaust emissions (imagine that). They will just plug your car into their computer and scan for codes. If it isn't a daily driver, put the biggest/baddest **** you can find in there.
