so long story short, i bent a push rod destroyed a lifter which in turn destroyed the cam and camshaft bearings. i need my car back on the road ASAP! so i now have to choose take my ls1 to the shop make sure i didn't mess anything else up or my friend offered me his LQ9 6.0l bored .030 over in trade. if i trade him it would basically be short block for short block but i would still need new pistons and the rest of what i already would have needed to put the LS1 back together, to finish the LQ9. so my question is, is it worth it to build the LQ9 w\LS1 heads or should i just rebuild the LS1? id like to push over 500hp before any boost added in the long run.

 

oh also forgot its a 98 LS1 block the ones known to crack but this one has not yet.
